Hi! We're the Walters Family

 

 

We created The Brookside Art House as a place for everyone to explore their creativity. Whether it be kids art classes, or adult workshops, we hope to offer something that will spark the artist in all of us, while also building a place for fun and creating community!

 

Emily, co-owner and lead teacher has a fine arts degree with an emphasis in printmaking and metalsmithing. She taught K-8th grade art for 3 years, before starting her own business as a floral designer. After retiring from event florals she taught others to design with flowers for several years with The Bloom Academy. She currently owns her business Hazel & Ollie, creating jewelry and accessories for adults and kids, and teaches at The Brookside Art House.

We are a small, family owned business, and have three kids of our own that keep us busy (and creative). We can’t wait to create with you and your kiddos!
