Fall Themed Maternity Shoot

Gah! The last few months have flown by so quickly, in fact the last 8 months I should say. I realized this weekend that winter is almost here so I better share pictures from our fall themed maternity shoot ASAP. One of the major advantages of working in the wedding industry is that you get to know a lot of photographers, and I have met so many that I'm happy to call friends. They are all truly talented! I decided to ask Jana of Jana Marie Photography to do a fun little maternity shoot for us. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do one at first, but I decided what the heck, and of course I did a little bit of mini styling just to make it extra special. The image is above is probably my favorite out of all of them, but it was hard to narrow them down, Jana did such a good job!

We were lucky to have a mild start to fall, all the roses in the Rose Garden at Loose Park were still in full bloom, but some of the trees had started to turn so we got the best of both worlds.

I found these adorable black and white polka dot booties with gold bows at a local baby store and absolutely couldn't resist buying them. They have every color on them that we're using in the nursery (see the inspiration here), plus they are too stinking cute! Another favorite thing of mine is the chevron dachshund below. It was hand made, and a gift from my thoughtful best friend at our baby shower. I love him (his name is Wayland and he was made by FriendsOfSocktopus on Etsy).

We are so excited to meet our little Eleanor Pearl and begin this exciting chapter of our lives. Only 7 more weeks to go, she's almost here!
